The Valir Story

Valir Health was created in 2000 when two independent long term care therapy companies merged, united by the desire to deliver world-class patient care and establish a higher standard. As Valir grew, the board of directors had the vision to develop Valir Health into a comprehensive healthcare organization while maintaining a special focus on rehabilitation.  

 

Valir's growth has been extraordinary, a direct result of our mission and core values, which inspire everything we do. With long term care therapy as our foundation, Valir Health Consulting and Billing Services was added to provide seminar-based education, on-site consulting, and billing expertise to the healthcare community. With Valir Long Term Care Therapy and Valir Health Consulting and Billing Services working together with the same clients, we empower our clients to provide higher levels of patient care and maximize reimbursement.

 

In May 2004, Valir purchased an 81-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in midtown Oklahoma City and began expanding our existing outpatient therapy services division. Since that time, we have expanded and now feature thirteen locations, primarily in the Oklahoma City area. This success has positioned Valir Outpatient Clinics as Oklahoma's leading outpatient therapy provider.

 

Valir Hospice Care is the most recent addition to the Valir family of companies. Seeing a need for a higher level of service than what was available, Valir brought a new standard for hospice to the market. We are proud of our world-class team of caregivers who are exceptionally talented at handling the end-of-life process for patients and their families.

 

Driven by our motto, "Do the right thing," Valir has continued to grow through positive physician and patient referrals and strong business relationship development.
