Valir Physical Therapy in Duncan began serving the Stephens County community in March 2010. Our objective is and always has been to provide an expert level of physical therapy services to all we serve in Duncan and the greater area. We also strive to provide patient education and therapies that will help patients achieve their maximum level of function in a friendly, professional, encouraging environment.
Our services include specialized orthopedic rehabilitation of shoulders and knees, sports medicine with sport-specific rehabilitation, pre- and postoperative rehab, spine rehabilitation, balance dysfunction, work conditioning, patient education for a better work environment, aquatic therapy and much more.
Patient and therapists work together to establish goals that are challenging yet achievable to maximize outcomes. We develop individualized home exercise programs for patients to promote healing and recovery and to prevent future injuries.
We participate in most available insurance plans, and we invite you to stop by the clinic for a visit at any time. If you are having pain or dysfunction in any part of your body, please discuss these symptoms with your doctor and ask if you need a prescription to Valir PT in Duncan.

 Doug Soell, PT, MPT, CGFI, graduated with his Master's in Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center with outstanding distinction in May 2005. He joined Valir in 2006, practicing in the Shawnee and Midwest City outpatient clinics prior to moving to Texas where he helped establish a private practice and manage another outpatient facility. Doug rejoined Valir's Duncan Outpatient Physical Therapy clinic in March 2010.
Doug enjoys working with patients of all ages and functional abilities, with a special interest in sports rehabilitation, general orthopedics, and spinal dysfunction. He is a Certified Golf Fitness Instructor by the prestigious Titleist Performance Institute, is actively working toward certification as a Mechanical Diagnostic Therapist (cert. MDT) through the McKenzie Institute, and is studying to become an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. Doug is active in the community and has served as a volunteer (medical staff) for the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon and for the Endeavor games for disabled athletes.
Doug loves spending time with his wife Maegan and his daughter Saige. In his spare time, Doug can be found hunting, golfing, being involved in church, or working out. He has a true passion for helping people overcome their injuries to return to their normal activity.
