Director of nursing (DON) training: This three-day course covers every aspect of working as a director of nursing within the long term care industry. This course combines lectures with attendee participation and is an excellent forum for training DONs and assistant DONs (RNs/LPNs).

 

Minimum data set (MDS) training: This course offers extensive skilled-management training on the period prior to patient admission all the way through discharge. MDS training increases the student's understanding of skilled nursing and therapy and explains the new and extensive RUG (Resource Utilization Groups) 53 model.
