Valir Physical Therapy at Hefner Pointe has been serving the community since August 2006. Our objective is to become the leading expert in the field of physical therapy rehabilitation. We also strive to provide therapies that will help patients achieve their maximum level of function. Our clinic offers a friendly, encouraging environment with a spectacular and relaxing view of Lake Hefner.

Our services include specialized orthopedic rehabilitation of shoulders and knees, sports medicine with sport-specific rehabilitation, pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, spine rehabilitation, therapeutic massage, work conditioning, patient education, fitting of orthotics for feet and much more. Patients and therapists work together to establish goals that are challenging yet achievable so as to maximize outcomes. We develop individualized home exercise programs for our patients in order to promote healing and recovery and to prevent future injuries. We participate in most available insurance plans. Additionally, we are proud of our continued relationship with Oklahoma Christian School, where a certified athletic trainer and a therapist work together to provide exceptional sports coverage.

David Huslig, RPT, MEd, BS, is a 1996 graduate of the University of Oklahoma. He first received a bachelor's of science degree in psychology and a master's degree in education, then pursued his physical therapy degree. He is now working toward certification as a fitness trainer (CFT).

David specializes in sports and spine rehabilitation. He has attended multiple continuing education courses on spine, knee, and shoulder rehabilitation. Additionally, he has more than 10 years of experience helping everyone from the weekend warrior to the professional athlete, spanning the entire spectrum of orthopedic health.

David assists with the Oklahoma Christian School's sports programs and volunteers at a local free health clinic. David and his wife, Susan, are the proud parents of Landon, Andrea and Logan.
